Our Planning and Control colleagues prepare and consolidate Eni’s budgets. Management control activity is carried out through the measurement of designated performance indicators for periodic checks (both forecast and final) on deviations between pre-set objectives and results achieved. They communicate the data to the relevant parties in order to establish corrective actions and in doing so, interact with the line and other departments.
The Head of Internal Auditing Activity carries out internal auditing activities within Eni's various companies. They analyse internal regulations, assess risks that the processes and activities may present, and provide consultancy to the organisational structures involved with the aim of keeping risks under control. Internal auditing involves the analysis of internal practices and operational workflows that may present potential malfunctioning and suggests different ways to resolve the issues. It also involves interfacing with various stakeholders to check the suitability of existing controls and shares audit results with management.
